The dolls are well made, like you would expect from a quality Mattel product. I would recommend them highly.
A small child can probably wreck the doll's appearance in minutes. As an older doll collector, I will display them out of box and they won't receive rough treatment of course. My opinion is Michael & Jane are meant for older collector or child over 8 years old. These two dolls are well-made and so cute. Their clothing is authentic style and very good quality. The cardboard carousel horses look good in a display with the dolls placed on them.
